2026 Men’s Basketball Tournament Quarterfinals Complete
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The top four seeds have advanced to Saturday's semifinals of the 2026 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Men’s Basketball Tournament after quarterfinal play on Wednesday night around the league.

In Sioux City, Iowa, top seed Morningside defeated eight seed Hastings 101-76, while four seed Concordia won at home in Seward, Nebraska, 66-60 over five seed Dordt. The Mustangs will host the Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon at 3pm in Sioux City.
On the opposite side of the bracket in Orange City, Iowa, two seed Northwestern defeated seven seed Dakota Wesleyan 112-79. In Yankton, South Dakota, the three seed Mount Marty posted a close 74-73 win over six seed Briar Cliff. The Red Raiders will host the Lancers on Saturday afternoon at 2pm in Orange City.
Morningside will receive the GPAC regular season automatic berth to the NAIA National Men's Basketball Championship as the number one seed. The GPAC Men's Basketball Tournament winner (runner-up if Morningside wins) also receives an automatic berth to the NAIA National Men's Basketball Championship.
A field of 64 teams will make the NAIA Men's Basketball Postseason this year. Games will be played at First and Second Round Sites on March 13-14 (four team pods). The 16 opening round winners will play in the NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship is set for March 19-24, 2026, in Kansas City, Missouri, at Municipal Auditorium.
