Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Offensive – Jalen Langsy, Northwestern College (Guard)
Jalen Langsy of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball offensive player-of-the-week. Langsy, a sophomore from Shakopee, Minnesota, led the Raiders with 32 points in Saturday's 90-75 win at Midland. He made five shots from beyond the arc, converting at a 50 percent clip. He has scored 30 or more points in each of the last three games and is second in the NAIA in points per game (27.8).
Defensive – Wil Lugar, Briar Cliff University (Guard)
Wil Lugar of Briar Cliff University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball defensive player-of-the-week. Lugar, a senior from Cherokee, Iowa averaged 5.5 defensive rebounds, 2.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks in a pair of Charger wins. Against Waldorf, he recorded five defensive rebounds, three steals, and three blocks. Against Hastings, he recorded six defensive rebounds and two steals.
