Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Offensive – Jesse Van Kalsbeek, Northwestern College (Forward)
Jesse Van Kalsbeek of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball offensive player-of-the-week. Van Kalsbeek, a sophomore from Sheldon, Iowa, scored 42.5 points per game in a 1-1 week for Northwestern. He had double-doubles in both outings, posting 47 points and 14 rebounds in Tuesday's win over William Penn, and contributing 38 points and 15 boards in Saturday's road loss at Doane.
Defensive – Randy Rosenquist, Jr., Dakota Wesleyan University (Guard)
Randy Rosenquist, Jr. of Dakota Wesleyan University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball defensive player-of-the-week. Rosenquist, a junior from North Sioux City, South Dakota, grabbed 14 total rebounds, eight steals, and two blocks between two games against VCSU and Hastings. He also contributed 12 points against VCSU and 13 against Hastings to open GPAC play.
