2025 GPAC Men’s Basketball Tournament Semifinals Complete

(Sioux City, Iowa) – Two seed Concordia and fourth seed Morningside posted Semifinal wins on Saturday afternoon in the 2025 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Men's Basketball Tournament.

Four seed Morningside posted a 109-106 win at #1 seed Dordt in overtime, while two seed Concordia won at home over #3 Northwestern 67-61.  Concordia will host Morningside on Tuesday night at 7pm in the GPAC Men's Basketball Tournament Championship.

On Wednesday in the quarterfinals top seed Dordt defeated #8 Mount Marty in Sioux Center, Iowa, by the final of 76-59, while fourth seed Morningside won at home over #5 Dakota Wesleyan 91-74 in Sioux City, Iowa.  On the other side of the bracket two seed Concordia was a winner in Seward, Nebraska, over #7 Midland 101-81, while three seed Northwestern defeated #6 seed Briar Cliff 83-65  in Orange City, Iowa.

GPAC Championship Tuesday will be on Tuesday, March 4. The GPAC Postseason Tournament Champion garners the conference second automatic berth to the NAIA National Basketball Tournament, with Dordt securing the first automatic by winning the regular season.

64 teams will make the NAIA Men's Basketball Postseason this year.  Games will be played at First and Second Round Sites on March 14-15 (four team pods).  The 16 opening round winners will play in the NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship is set for March 20-25, 2025, in Kansas City, Missouri, at Municipal Auditorium.
