Week 12: GPAC Men's Basketball Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Offensive – Lucas Lorenzen, Dordt University (Forward)
Lucas Lorenzen of Dordt University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball offensive player-of-the-week. Lorenzen, a junior from Milford, Iowa, averaged 13.5 points as the Defenders defeated Northwestern and Midland on the road last week. He connected from the field at almost a 60 percent rate, going 16-of-27 from the field. He also chipped in with 6.5 boards and two steals per contest.
Defensive – Jaxon Stueve, Concordia University (Forward)
Jaxon Stueve of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball defensive player-of-the-week. Stueve, sophomore from Papillion, Nebraska, helped push Concordia's GPAC winning streak to nine with his work on the defensive end. Stueve and company forced 18 turnovers versus Mount Marty and then held No. 3 Northwestern to 37.1 percent shooting. In the matchup with Northwestern, Stueve was matched up with Jesse Van Kalsbeek, who went 3-for-14 from the floor. Stueve also put up a combined 13 points on the week.
