Week 8: GPAC Women's Volleyball Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Volleyball players-of-the-week for contests played October 6-12, 2025. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-2026 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Volleyball Players-of-the-Week

Attacker – Stella Winterfeld, Northwestern College (Outside)

Northwestern's Stella Winterfeld is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Attacker-of-the-Week. Winterfeld, a junior from Sioux Center, Iowa, led the Raiders to two top-20 road wins in her return to the lineup, headlined by a 22-kill, 11-dig performance in a four-set win at No. 2 Concordia on Friday night. Less than 24 hours later, she posted 15 kills and four aces in a sweep of No. 18 Midland. Winterfeld averaged 5.29 kills per set and had 15 digs on the weekend.

Setter- Kayleigh Hybertson, Dakota Wesleyan University

Kayleigh Hybertson of Dakota Wesleyan University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Setter-of-the-Week. Hybertson, a junior from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, piled up 67 assists to fuel the Tiger offense. She helped Dakota Wesleyan to a pair of conference wins, averaging 11.17 assists per set alongside 15 digs, three kills, two blocks, and a service ace.

Defender – Elizabeth Tyler, Dakota Wesleyan University (Defensive Specialist)

Dakota Wesleyan defensive specialist Elizabeth Tyler is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Defender-of-the-Week. Tyler, a junior from Mitchell, South Dakota, had 44 total digs between two match wins for the Tigers against Doane and Hastings. She averaged 7.33 digs per set alongside three assists, two service aces, and zero receiving errors.
