Week 4: GPAC Women's Volleyball Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Volleyball players-of-the-week for contests played September 8-14, 2025. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-2026 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Volleyball Players-of-the-Week

Attacker – Brooklynn Snyder, Midland University (Outside)

Midland's Brooklynn Snyder is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Attacker-of-the-Week. Snyder, a sophomore from Bennington, Nebraska, set a new career-high with 23 kills during Midland's reverse sweep of Mount Marty. She hit .309 for the match and was a dominant force on the outside. In the deciding set, she had five kills to go along with two ace serves.

Setter- Kyla Dyrstad, Morningside University

Kyla Dyrstad of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Setter-of-the-Week. Dyrstad, a sophomore from Papillion, Nebraska, averaged 11.71 assists per set in Morningside's two matches this week. She also had five ace serves and 14 digs on the week.

Defender – Delainey Cast, Concordia University (Defensive Specialist)

Concordia University defensive specialist Emma Brueggemann is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Defender-of-the-Week. Brueggemann, a freshman from Hebron, Nebraska, helped lead second-ranked Concordia to a straight sets win over College of Saint Mary. Brueggemann tallied a career best 23 digs as the Bulldogs held the Flames to an -.016 hitting percentage for the match. Brueggemann also added an ace and five assists to her stat line.
