Week 3: GPAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week

Field Events – Kinsey Alt, Morningside University
Kinsey Alt from Morningside University is this week's field athlete-of-the-week. Alt, a junior from Stuart, Iowa, took third place in the long jump at the Central Methodist University Invite. She stretched the tape 5.47m (17'11.5") beating out 30 other competitors. That mark is also currently the fourth best in the GPAC during the outdoor season.
Track Events – Morgan Sachs, Morningside University
Morgan Sachs of Morningside University is this week's track athlete-of-the-week. Sachs, a sophomore, from Omaha, Nebraska, took fifth place in the 800 meters at the Central Methodist University Invite in a field of 35 runners. Her time, 2:19.91 is currently the second-fastest time in the GPAC.
