Week 6: GPAC Women's Outdoor T&F Athletes of the Week

Field Events – Madison Sutton, Doane
Madison Sutton from Doane University is this week's women's field athlete-of-the-week. Sutton, a senior from Lexington, Nebraska, posted the top mark in the GPAC and 5th-best in the NAIA in the hammer throw with a toss of 54.12m (177-07) at the Prairie Wolf Invite. She won the discus with a mark of 47.04m (154-04), meeting the NAIA provisional standard. Sutton added a third-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 13.49m (44-03.25). On the year, she leads the GPAC in both the hammer throw and the discus while sitting seventh in the shot put.
Track Events – Jaida Rowe, Hastings College
Jaida Rowe of Hastings College is this week's women's track athlete-of-the-week. Rowe, a junior from Lincoln, Nebraska, claimed first place in the 400m hurdles with an A-Standard and personal best time of 1:01.62, marking the sixth best time in the NAIA this year. She still holds the third best time in school history, just .08 second behind second place. She set the mark at the Prairie Wolf Invite.
