Week 7: GPAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played October 6-12, 2025. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-26 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Women's Offense – Kierstynn Garner, Concordia University (Forward)

Kierstynn Garner of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Garner, a senior from Kearney, Nebraska, produced four goals and three assists for the week as Concordia earned GPAC wins over Hastings (receiving votes nationally) and Waldorf. In the road victory over the Broncos, Garner came through with the equalizing goal in the 20th minute. With her three goals versus Waldorf, Garner moved into a tie for second on the program's all-time goals list with 65.

Women's Defense – Virginia Johnson, Doane University (Keeper)

Virginia Johnson of Doane University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Johnson, a junior from Lenexa, Kansas, went 2-0 in goal on the week for Doane, picking up five saves per game (10 total). She moved into 10th place on Doane's all-time saves list, now at 147 career saves.
