Week 2: GPAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Soccer Players-of-the-Week
Women's Offense – Aliza Edwards, Northwestern College (Forward)
Aliza Edwards of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Edwards, a junior, from Spencer, Iowa, scored three goals in the first 23 minutes of Northwestern's win over Avila, netting her first career hat trick. Prior to that, she dished out an assist in Friday's contest against Graceland. Edwards is tied for third in the GPAC in goals with four on the year.
Women's Defense – Tatiana Villasenor, Hastings College (Keeper)
Tatiana Villasenor of Hastings College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Villasenor, a sophomore from Aurora, Colorado, came up huge defensively in a 2-1 road win at No. 23 University of Science and Arts, saving 12 out of 13 shots on goal, including seven saves in the second half alone. She went to 2-0 on the week with a shutout win over Ottawa, saving the only shot on goal. For the week she had 13 saves in the two games, allowing just one goal.
