Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Offensive – Mallie McNair, Briar Cliff University (Guard)
Mallie McNair of Briar Cliff University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball offensive player-of-the-week. McNair, a senior from Imperial, Nebraska, averaged 25.5 points and shot 66.7 percent from the field in two Charger victories this past weekend. Against College of Saint Marry McNair scored a game-high 30 points and went 12-for-18 from the field and recorded five assists.
Defensive – Lily Vollertsen, Morningside University (Center)
Lily Vollertsen of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball defensive player-of-the-week. Vollertsen, a senior from Syracuse, Nebraska, had 23 defensive rebounds in a pair of contests last week. She averaged 11.5 boards per game. She also had 2.5 steals and 2.5 blocks per game.
