Week 1: GPAC Women's Basketball Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Offensive – Megan Chambers, Doane University (Forward)
Megan Chambers of Doane University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball offensive player-of-the-week. Chambers, a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, posted a career-high 36 points to help lift Doane past Peru State in the season opener, erasing a 12-point second half deficit. She added a career-high 14 rebounds in the game. The following day, Chambers helped lead Doane to another come-from-behind win with a game-high 23 points and matching her career-high with 14 rebounds. She shot 75-percent from the floor on the week and 89-percent from the free throw line while averaging 29.5 points in the two games.
Defensive – Raelyn Kelty, Concordia University (Forward)
Raelyn Kelty of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball defensive player-of-the-week. Kelty, a junior from Kiowa, Colorado, helped the Bulldogs to an 80-59 win at Graceland (Iowa) in their lone outing of the week. Kelty contributed to the team's 28 forced turnovers with six steals. She also posted a double-double that included 10 defensive rebounds.
