Week 16: GPAC Women's Basketball Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Offensive – Mallie McNair, Briar Cliff University (Forward)
Mallie McNair of Briar Cliff University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball offensive player-of-the-week. McNair, a junior from Imperial, Nebraska, averaged 25.5 points and shot 59 percnet from the field, 58 percent from three, and averaged six assists per game. Against Waldorf, McNair scored 26 points and shot 10-for-17 from the field and four-for-five from three-point range. Against Mount Marty, she scored 25 points and went nine-for-15 from the field and four-for-four from the free throw line.
Defensive – Ann Bose, Hastings College (Forward)
Ann Bose of Hastings College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball defensive player-of-the-week. Bose, a freshman from Orleans, Nebraska, had five steals in 16 minutes of their 35-point win over Concordia holding the Bulldogs to 27 percent shooting in the game and 17 percent in the 2nd and 3rd quarters alone. For the week she averaged three steals, along with 10 points and 4.5 rebounds on 50 percent shooting as Hastings clinched a top 4 seed with their Saturday win over Northwestern.
