Week 7: GPAC Softball Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the softball player and pitcher-of-the-week for contests played March 16-22, 2026. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-2026 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Softball Weekly Honors

Player – Chloe Kreuz, Dordt University (Outfield)

Chloe Kreuz of Dordt University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports softball player-of-the-week.  Kreuz, a sophomore from Rutherfordton, North Carolina, hit .643 in four wins for the Defenders last week.  She totaled nine hits, seven of them going for extra bases, including three homeruns. In all she drove in 11 runs and scored six times.

Pitcher – Rylee Yager, Dordt University

Rylee Yager of Dordt University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week.  Rylee Yager, a freshman from Estherville, Iowa, gave up just a pair of hits on the week. She struck out 15 hitters in two 5-inning decisions. She is 11-4 this season and 2-0 in league play.
