Northwestern Wins The 2025 GPAC Softball Tournament

(Sioux City, Iowa) – Northwestern won two of three games on Monday over Morningside to claim the 2025 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC Postseason Tournament Championship.

The best of three finals were played in Orange City, Iowa, and was hosted by Northwestern.

Three seed Morningside won game one by the final of 3-1.  The top seeded Red Raiders came back to win game two 5-2.  Northwestern won the deciding game three by the final of 5-1.

Both teams have secured the GPAC automatic berths to the NAIA Softball Opening Rounds which get under way next week, May 12-15, at campus sites around the country.  The field for the NAIA Softball Postseason will be announced on Wednesday.
