Championship Series Set – 2025 GPAC Softball Tournament

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The 2025 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Postseason Softball Tournaments continued on Friday, May 2, in Fremont, Nebraska.  Morningside won the Midland Pod and has advanced to play Northwestern on Monday, May 5, in the Best of Three GPAC Softball Championship Series in Orange City, Iowa. 

On Friday the Midland Pod was completed with Morningside going 3-0 to win the bracket.  In game five Dordt eliminated Midland, and Morningside won game six over Dordt to advance to the GPAC Championship Series. Northwestern won their pod on Thursday to host the GPAC Championship Series on Monday. 

With Northwestern winning their pod, Morningside has secured the second automatic from the GPAC into the NAIA National Softball Championship Opening Round.
