Week 12: GPAC Softball Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the softball player and pitcher-of-the-week for contests played April 21 - April 27, 2025. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2024-2025 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Softball Weekly Honors

Pitcher – Kate Kralik, Northwestern College

Kate Kralik of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week. Kralik, a senior from Indianola, Iowa, struck out 11 batters in a 3-0 week last week. She threw 14.0 innings in three starts, compiling an ERA of 1.50. Kralik is second in the GPAC with 135 strikeouts this season.  Northwestern secured the GPAC regular season title and number one seed in the conference tournament.

Player – Brooke Rule, Dordt University

Brooke Rule of Dordt University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports softball player-of-the-week.  Rule, a senior from Brush, Colorado, stole four bases and batted .714 last week with eight runs scored. For the week she had a 1.14 slugging percentage in for Defenders wins to close the regular season.
