Week 10: GPAC Softball Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the softball player and pitcher-of-the-week for contests played April 7 - April 13, 2025. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2024-2025 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Pitcher – Campbell Petrick, Midland University

Campbell Petrick of Midland University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week.

Petrick, a junior from Lincoln, Nebraska, picked up three wins this week in the circle as Midland went 6-0 and moved into second place in the conference standings. She had a 1.00 ERA with 10 strikeouts over 21.0 innings. This season, she has a 1.81 ERA with a 12-4 record.

Player – Reese Floro, Midland University (First Base)

Reese Floro of Midland University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports softball player-of-the-week.  Floro, a senior from Plattsmouth, Nebraska, went 9-for-19 (.474) with 4 walks this week (.565 OBP). She made the most of her time on the basepath, scoring 10 runs with a pair of extra-base hits. This season, she leads the team with a .429 average with 16 RBIs and 32 runs scored.
