Week 3: GPAC Softball Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the softball player and pitcher-of-the-week for contests played February 17-23, 2025. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2024-2025 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Softball Weekly Honors

Pitcher – McKenzie Gray, Mount Marty University

McKenzie Gray of Mount Marty University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week.  Gray, a senior from Imperial, California, threw two complete games going 2-0 and helping Mount Marty go 4-0 over the weekend. McKenzie had 15 total strikeouts. She is now the career leader in wins at Mount Marty with 28 total career wins.

Player – Kayleen Jacinto, Mount Marty University (Outfield)

Kayleen Jacinto of Mount Marty University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports softball player-of-the-week.  Jacinto, a junior from Fillmore, California, hit .615 (8-for-13) on the weekend leading Mount Marty to a 4-0 record. She had a home run, a double and five RBI in addition to scoring six times.
