Week 2: GPAC Softball Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the softball player and pitcher-of-the-week for contests played February 10-16, 2025. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2024-2025 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Softball Weekly Honors

Pitcher – Ellie Jacobson, Northwestern College

Ellie Jacobson of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week.  Jacobson, a senior from Humboldt, Iowa, had a pair of wins in the circle, pitching 10 innings with 10 strikeouts and only one run allowed. She posted an ERA of 0.70, currently sitting third in the GPAC in ERA (0.71), third in strikeouts (25), and first in wins (5).

Player – McKinnely Mull, Dakota Wesleyan University (Utility)

McKinnely Mull of Dakota Wesleyan University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports softball player-of-the-week.  Mull, a senior from Vernal, Utah, went 7-for-13 (.538) with one home run, and two RBI in a perfect 4-0 week for the Tigers. She also had five stolen bases and in five attempts and scored seven times.
