Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Cross Country Runners-of-the Week
Women – Keeli Green, Concordia University
Keeli Green of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week. Green, a sophomore from Arlington, Nebraska, ran her first 6K of the season and completed the race in 22:00.31 at the Briar Cliff Invitational. Green placed ninth overall (out of 111) and was the top GPAC/NAIA finisher in the field. The top eight runners were each from the NCAA Division I level. Green has been Concordia's top runner at all three meets this season.
Men – Caleb Tofteland, Northwestern College
Caleb Tofteland of Northwestern College is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week. Tofteland, a freshman from Wichita, Kansas, was the top NAIA finisher at the Briar Cliff Invite on Saturday, running a personal best time of 25:46.59. He has placed in the top ten of his last two competitions this season.
