MEN
Tyson Beauperthuy, Doane University– 184lb Weight Class
Doane University wrestler Tyson Beauperthuy is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Wrestler-of-the-Week. Beauperthuy, a senior from Colorado Springs, Colorado, went 4-0 at the NWCA National Duals, defeating three ranked opponents all with bonus points. In his final two matches, he picked up Top 10 wins. He defeated No. 8 Adrian Chavez-Morales (Southern Oregon) by tech fall, 22-5, and No. 4 Isaiah Twait (Corban) by major decision, 17-5.
WOMEN
Cristelle Rodriguez, Doane University – 124lb Weight Class
Doane University wrestler Cristelle Rodriguez is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Wrestler-of-the-Week. Rodriguez, a senior from Clovis, California, went 5-0 on the weekend with all wins by tech fall or fall in the first period. She improved to 13-0 on the season and moved her win-streak to 42 straight matches. Rodriguez has out-scored her opponents, 130-1, on the season with all matches ending in the first period.
