Week 4: GPAC Men's Outdoor T&F Athletes of the Week

Field Events – Luke Rettedal, Mount Marty
Luke Rettedal from Mount Marty University is this week's men's field athlete-of-the-week. Rettedal, a senior from Tea, South Dakota, placed first in the shot put at two meets last week for the Lancers. At the Sioux City Relays he posted a throw of 16.81 meters on Friday, then on Saturday at the Doane Invite he bettered the mark with a measurement of 19.91 meters.
Track Events – Zach Turner, Doane University
Zach Turner of Doane University is this week's men's track athlete-of-the-week. Turner, a senior from Crete, Nebraska, logged the fastest time in the NAIA, with legal wind readings, as he posted a time of 13.78 in the 110m hurdles. He then anchored the 4x400m relay team to the sixth-fastest time in the NAIA this year with a mark of 3:12.58. Both times, set at the Doane/Nebraska Wesleyan Dual, meet the NAIA automatic qualifying standard.
