Day One Complete at GPAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, Hosted by Dordt
(Sioux Center, Iowa) – Day one of the 2026 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships was on Friday, February 20, in Sioux Center, Iowa, at Dordt University.
(Sioux Center, Iowa) – Day one of the 2026 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships was on Friday, February 20, in Sioux Center, Iowa, at Dordt University.
Day two begins at 9am on Saturday, February 21, at the Dordt Recreation Center.
On Friday, the women's pentathlon was completed (five events), while four of seven events were completed in the men's heptathlon.
Lucy Carey from Hastings won the pentathlon with 3363 points, while Chaney Nelson from Doane was second with 3161 points. The men's heptathlon is led by Hank Moore from Concordia with 2833 points.
The men's heptathlon 60-meter hurdles will open the events on Saturday morning, with field events beginning at 10am. Track events start at 11am.
