Field Events – Willem Den Hartog, Dordt University
Willem Den Hartog from Dordt University is this week's field athlete-of-the-week. Den Hartog, a junior from Nampa, Idaho, earned his third win in the pole vault during this indoor season with a first-place finish at the Dennis Young Invite. Den Hartog cleared 4.55m and currently sits No.1 in the GPAC with his school record vault last week.
Track Events – Lucas Hjortkjaer, Midland University
Lucas Hjortkjaer of Midland University is this week's track athlete-of-the-week. Hjortkjaer, a senior from Hvalsoe, Denmark, won the 1000m race at the Cyclone Open with a time of 2:27.73. It was his best time of the season. He also anchored the 4x400m relay team that placed fourth with a time of 3:25.34.
