Women's Tennis – Lara Heinrich, Morningside University
Lara Heinrich of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Tennis Player of the Week. Heinrich, a freshman from Erfurt, Thuringia, Germany, went 4-0 this week, collecting GPAC singles and doubles wins over both Mount Marty and Concordia. She has put together an impressive spring, going 10-0 in singles and 9-3 in doubles since the calendar turned, prompting her to climb to a no. 41 ranking in the latest ITA singles list.
Men's Tennis – Daniel Caballeros, Concordia University
Daniel Caballeros of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Tennis Player of the Week. Caballeros, a junior from Guatemala, went 2-0 in both singles and doubles for the week. Caballeros helped the Bulldogs to a 7-0 win over Hastings. In the loss at No. 14 Morningside, Caballeros won a tiebreaker at No. 3 singles and at No. 1 doubles. Caballeros is now 13-3 on the season in singles for Concordia.
