Women's Tennis – Cara Ansbach, Hastings College
Cara Ansbach of Hastings College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Tennis Player of the Week. Ansbach, a freshman from Hastings, Nebraska, led Hastings to a 3-0 week by winning all three of her singles and all of her doubles matches. She lost just four total games in singles and six total games in doubles as Hastings also picked up back-to-back 7-0 wins for the first time since April 2018.
Men's Tennis – Jose Purizaca, Doane University
Jose Purizaca of Doane University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Tennis Player of the Week. Purizaca, a senior from Lima, Peru, went undefeated on the weekend, winning both his singles and doubles matches in near sweeps. He improved to 4-1 in singles action with the win.
