Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week
Men's Offense – Drew Darnold, Northwestern College (Forward)
Drew Darnold of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Darnold, a sophomore from Papillion, Nebraska, netted his first career hat trick and dished out an assist in Northwestern's 5-1 win over Mount Marty on Saturday. His three goals came in the first 22 minutes of the game, completing his second multi-goal performance in three games.
Men's Defense – Tomas Reyes, Midland University (Keeper)
Tomas Reyes of Midland University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Reyes, a freshman from Guadalajara, Mexico, helped the Warriors pick up two big wins this week on the road. On Wednesday, he made three saves as the Warriors upset No. 11-ranked Bellevue. He added two more saves on Saturday in Midland's road win at Briar Cliff.
