Week 5: GPAC Men's Soccer Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played September 22-28, 2025. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-26 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week

Men's Offense – Drew Darnold, Northwestern College (Forward)

Drew Darnold of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Darnold, a sophomore from Papillion, Nebraska, scored three goals on the week, netting one in a 3-0 win over Waldorf and two in Northwestern's 4-1 win over Jamestown.

Men's Defense – Nolan Fuelberth, Concordia University (Keeper)

Nolan Fuelberth of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Fuelberth, a senior from Lincoln, Nebraska, earned the clean sheet in Concordia's lone outing of the week. Fuelberth made six saves while contributing to the 1-0 win over Briar Cliff. He has recorded nine shutouts in his collegiate career.
