Hastings Wins 2026 GPAC Men's Golf Championship

The GPAC Men's Golf Championships were played at the Dakota Dunes Country Club in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota. The tournament was played Monday and Tuesday, April 20-21.

In the team competition, Morningside was second (899) and Northwestern was third (905). Dordt was fourth and Doane placed fifth.
Max Nielsen from Hastings won the individual title with a final round score of 71 and went 217 for the tournament (+1). Taiki Sugawara from Hastings was second at +3 (219), while Peyton Bettcher from Dakota Wesleyan was third at +5 (221).
The Hastings men will represent the GPAC at the NAIA National Championships in Silvis, Illinois, May 12-15 at TPC Deere Run.
The top ten individuals (with ties) were named to the GPAC Men's Golf All-Tournament Team. The GPAC Men's Golf All-Conference Teams will be announced in the coming week.
