Week 13: GPAC Golf Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Golfers-of-the-Week
Women – Connie Jarm, Doane University
Connie Jarm of Doane University is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Golfer-of-the-Week. Jarm, a sophomore from Monterey Park, California, led Doane with a 234 at the Concordia Invite on Monday and Tuesday, posting the low score of any GPAC competitor and only one shot off the tournament's low score posted by NJCAA #26 Olivia Holyoak-Church (Iowa Western CC). She recorded six birdies (3rd most in the tournament) and 28 pars (2nd most) over the 54-hole event.
Men – Heidar Bjarnason, Doane University
Heidar Bjarnason of Doane University is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Golfer-of-the-Week. Bjarnason, a sophomore from, Selfoss, Iceland, led Doane to a 4th place finish at the Lark Invitational on Monday and Tuesday with a 54-hole score of 218, tying for 4th individual. He followed up with a win in singles play for Doane's annual match play meeting against Concordia, defeating Brock Rogers, 2 & 1. Doane won the event 18.5-2.5, posting their 8th win in the 12 years of the competition.
