Week 9: GPAC Golf Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for March 9-15, 2026.  Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-2026 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Golfers-of-the-Week

Women – Kaitlyn Dumler, Doane University
Kaitlyn Dumler of Doane University is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Golfer-of-the-Week. Dumler, a senior from Lincoln, Nebraska, led Doane at the Buccaneer Invitational with a three-round total of 231 including going just one-over in her third round. The Tigers were the lone NAIA school, competing against all NCAA Division II schools including four Top-15 programs.

Men – Qwenton Caldwell, Northwestern College
Qwenton Caldwell of Northwestern College is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Golfer-of-the-Week. Caldwell, a senior from Littleton, Colorado, placed second at the Verhille Invitational to open the spring season, shooting 145 (+1) in the two-round event. His eagle on the final hole secured an even second round and a first-place team finish.
