Dakota Dunes Country Club Announced as 2026 GPAC Women's and Men's Golf Championship Site
The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) is excited to announce that the 2026 GPAC Women’s and Men’s Golf Championships will be held at Dakota Dunes Country Club (DDCC) in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, this April.
The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) is excited to announce that the 2026 GPAC Women's and Men's Golf Championships will be held at Dakota Dunes Country Club (DDCC) in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, this April.
The Men's Championship is scheduled for April 20–21, followed by the Women's Championship on April 27–28. Each event will consist of 54 holes, with 36 holes played on Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday.
"We look forward to hosting our 2026 GPAC Golf Championships at Dakota Dunes," said GPAC Commissioner Corey Westra. "We're excited to expand the event this year with an on-site team meal Monday evening and special photo opportunities for our student-athletes. It will be a tremendous season-ending experience for our teams."
Located along the scenic banks of the Missouri River, Dakota Dunes Country Club is a premier private club featuring an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Arnold Palmer. The course has hosted prestigious events such as the Dakota Dunes Open and the South Dakota High School State Championships.
The GPAC Women last competed at DDCC in 2020, while the Men's Championship was last held there in 2021.
