Week 11: GPAC Football Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following football players-of-the-week for games played the week of November 3-9, 2025.  Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-26 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/ Football Players-of-the-Week

Offense – Colby Duncan, Quarterback (Northwestern College)
Northwestern quarterback Colby Duncan is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Duncan, a sophomore from Papillion, Nebraska, had a career day, totaling 384 yards and six touchdowns. He went for 335 yards and five touchdowns through the air, while also rushing for 49 yards and a score. Duncan's five touchdown passes were spread out among four different receivers. The Raiders travel to Concordia on November 15. Kickoff will be at 1 pm.

Defense – Victor Atupra, Defensive Back (Morningside University)
Defensive back Victor Atupra of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Atupra, a sophomore from Council Bluffs, Iowa, caused four Mount Marty turnovers this week, picking off three passes, including one inside the 10-yard line, and forcing a fumble in Morningside's 63-20 victory. He also had three tackles in the contest. The Mustangs host Dordt on November 15. Kickoff will be at 1 pm.

Special Teams – Tommy Fitzsimmons, Kicker (Morningside University)

Tommy Fitzsimmons of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Special Teams Player-of-the-Week. Fitzsimmons, a sophomore from Vail, Iowa, went 9-for-9 on in the Mustangs 63-20 win over Mount Marty. The Mustangs host Dordt on November 15. Kickoff will be at 1 pm.
