Week 9: GPAC Baseball Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Baseball Weekly Honors
Pitcher – Zachary Vincent, Midland University
Zachary Vincent of Midland University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week. Vincent, a senior from Tucson, Arizona, threw a complete-game shutout at Briar Cliff this week. He had nine strikeouts while allowing four hits and a walk as the Warriors won 1-0. It was his first career complete-game shutout.
Player – Grant Guidry, Northwestern College (First Base)
Northwestern College first baseman Grant Guidry is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports baseball player-of-the-week. Guidry, a freshman from Yantis, Texas, launched three home runs and drove in seven runs as Northwestern went 3-1 in a weekend series at Waldorf. He hit .563 on the week and had three multi-RBI games. In Friday's 7-4 win, Guidry went 4-for-4 with three RBIs and a homer, while also going 3-for-4 with a run scored in Saturday's 19-3 win.
