Week 4: GPAC Baseball Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2024-2025 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Baseball Weekly Honors
Pitcher – Micah Sweeton, Concordia University
Micah Sweeton of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week. Sweeton, freshman from Temecula, California, made two appearances over the past week and did not allow a single earned run. In 10.2 innings pitched, he surrendered just two unearned runs on four hits and four walks while piling up 15 strikeouts. Sweeton fired six shutout innings versus Dickinson State and picked up his first career victory.
Player – Sam Wilt, Morningside University (First Base)
Morningside University infielder Sam Wilt is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports baseball player-of-the-week. Wilt, a junior from Anamosa, Iowa, went 6-for-9 at the plate and walked five times in four games with one home run and a double. He had six RBI and scored 11 times as the Mustangs swept Embry-Riddle.
