Day One Complete at the 2026 GPAC Women's Golf Championships at Dakota Dunes

Day one of two was played on Monday, April 27. The event is powered by MMTH Sports Construction and hosted by destination partner Explore Siouxland.
27 of 54 holes were played on Monday, with all teams finishing in the middle of their second round as planned entering Monday competition. Play will resume on Tuesday with the final nine holes of round two and then the 18 hole final round for a total of 54 holes.
Through 27 holes of play Morningside holds the team lead at +40 (476). The Mustangs hold a 21-stroke lead on second place Doane who is at 497 (+61). College of Saint Mary is third (+67), Concordia fourth (+87), and Briar Cliff fifth (+88).
Individually, there is a three-way tie atop the leaderboard. Ivanna Becerra-Diaz from Morningside, Kamryn Zuniga from Morningside, and Allison Meyerink from Dakota Wesleyan are all at +7 (116). Victoria Farkas from College of Saint Mary is two strokes off the lead at +9 (118) with Kaitlyn Dumler from Doane at +12 (121) to round out the top five in the medalist race.
The GPAC team Champion advances to the NAIA National Championships in Ypsilanti, Michigan, May 19-20 at the Eagle Crest Golf Club. The individual champion (unless on winning team) will also advance to the NAIA Championships.
Tuesday play starts at 8:30am.

Doane is the defending team champion for GPAC Women's Golf after claiming the 2025 title in Cairo, Nebraska.
Allison Meyerink from Dakota Wesleyan was the 2025 GPAC Individual Champion.
