KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2014 NAIA Baseball All-America teams, selected by the NAIA-Baseball Coaches Association (NAIA-BCA) All-America Selection Committee.  GPAC Player-of-the-Year Mitch Peschon (pictured) from Northwestern earned second team honors.  GPAC Pitcher-of-theYear Elliot Engle from Doane and Cody Groskreutz from Northwestern were each named to the Honorable Mention list.  Three GPAC teams made the NAIA Postseason this year (Doane, Midland, and Northwestern) and all three posted 40 plus win seasons.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – (Opening Round Brackets | Bracket Video Show) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has officially released the seeds and brackets for the 2014 NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round. Each of the nine locations will feature a five-team, double-elimination tournament.

The 2014 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Baseball All-Conference team has been announced after a vote of league coaches.  The 2014 GPAC All-Conference Team consists of 17 first-team members and 17 second-team members, and an honorable mention list. Mitch Peschon from Northwestern was selected as the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Player-of-the-Year and Elliott Engle from Doane was selected as the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Pitcher-of-the-Year.  Jeremy Jorgensen from Doane was named the 2014 Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Coach-of-the-Year. The eighth annual Hauff Mid-America Sports Gold Glove Team was also named.
