Verone Chambers of Oklahoma Baptist has been named NAIA National Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week and Megan Glisar of Morningside (Iowa) has been tabbed as the NAIA National Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Chambers and Brenon were selected based on their performances from Jan. 9 – 15.

The 2011 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships are this weekend in Crete and Lincoln, Nebraska.

The schedule of meets for the 2011 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Indoor and Outdoor Seasons has been released.  Meets for the indoor season open this weekend at Doane with the Scott Nisely Memorial Open and at Minnesota Mankato.  The 2011 GPAC Indoor Championships will once again be in Lincoln, Nebraska, at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Saturday, February 19.  The GPAC Multi-Event Championships will begin on Friday, February 18, at Doane College in Fuhrer Fieldhouse and conclude on the 19th in Lincoln.
