Nate Polak, senior from Hastings College and Lincoln, Nebraska, has been selected by the New York Red Bulls in the 4^th round of the Major League Soccer (MLS) supplemental draft.  He becomes the first player in Hastings and GPAC history to be selected in the MLS draft.

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2011 NAIA Men's Soccer All-America Teams, as selected by the NAIA Men's Soccer All-America Selection Committee.

Senior defender Derek Prinz of Hastings (Neb.) has been named the 2011 Brine-NAIA National Player of the Year. Prinz becomes the first Bronco in school history to receive the award since it began in 1997.

Lebogang Moloto put home the golden goal in the 96th minute to lead No. 2 Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) to a 3-2 overtime victory over No. 1 Hastings (Neb.) in the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship Final. The Blue Raiders now stand with nine all-time national championships, which is second most in NAIA history behind the 11 won by former NAIA member Quincy (Ill.). Hastings, who won its first-ever title in 2010 at the Orange Beach Sportsplex, ends it season with a 24-2-0 record.
