The Hastings College Volleyball Team saw its season end Friday night as No. 1 Concordia (CA) swept the Broncos 25-19, 25-14, 25-19 in the quarterfinal of the NAIA National Volleyball Tournament.
The 1987 volleyball season was the beginning of a new era at Doane College as Cindy Meyer took over the coaching reigns. Twenty-six years and 664 wins later, Meyer has chosen to go out on top and retire as Doane volleyball coach following another successful season that ended with a bid to the NAIA National Tournament.
The Hastings College Volleyball Team may have had a lack of sleep but only needed one set to wake them up as they knocked off Lee Unverisity (TN) 15-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-20 in the quarterfinal play in round of the NAIA National Volleyball Tournament on Friday morning.
