Volleyball - Player of the Week
Tiegen Skains
Concordia University
Concordia University right side hitter Tiegen Skains is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Player-of-the-Week. Skains, a sophomore from Colorado Springs, Colorado, hit .316 on the week including 11 kills versus No. 15 (NCAA DIII) Nebraska Wesleyan. She notched a career high 20 kills in the upset of No. 21 Dordt, including six kills in game 4 and five in game 5. Concordia is in a tie for third place in the league standings with a record of 17-9 overall, 8-5 in the GPAC.

Women's Soccer - Offensive Player of the Week
Kelsey Nealon
Hastings College
Hastings College forward Kelsey Nealon is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Nealon, a senior from Lincoln, Nebraska, scored three goals on the week. She had both goals in a 2-1 win over Doane to go along with one in a 5-0 victory over Northwestern. She now has 12 goals on the season. The Broncos are 13-2-1.

Football - Offensive Player of the Week
Clayton Moore
Doane College
Doane running back Clayton Moore is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Moore, a senior from Friend, Nebraska, scored three touchdowns in the 2nd half as the Tigers erased a 20-3 halftime deficit to win 23-20 over Concordia. He ran for 105 yards on just 16 carries, averaging 6.6 yard per carry.

Football - Defensive Player of the Week
Logan Gibbs
Morningside College
Morningside College linebacker Logan Gibbs is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Gibbs, a senior from Maxwell, Iowa, had a season-high 11 tackles for a Mustang defense that held Briar Cliff to just 86 yards of total offense. He had a pass break up and forced a fumble that he recovered and returned 15 yards to the Briar Cliff one-yard line to set up the Mustangs' fourth touchdown.

Men's Soccer - Defensive Player of the Week
Brendan Buchanan
Concordia University
Concordia University keeper Brendan Buchanan is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Buchanan, a senior from Broomfield, Colorado, recorded nine saves for the Bulldogs. He surrendered only a single goal in 213 minutes and picked up his fifth shutout of the season in the double overtime draw at Briar Cliff. Concordia is 8-4-4 and 4-1-3 in the GPAC on the season.

Julie Els
Doane College
Doane defensive specialist Julie Els is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Defensive Players-of-the-Week. Els, a senior from Athens, Ohio, averaged 6.23 digs for the Tigers who went 2-1 on the week. She also was added four ace serves and had just 4 errors in 72 serve receptions. Doane is now 14-15 overall and 6-7 in GPAC play.

Volleyball - Setter of the Week
Brooke Fessler
Northwestern College
Northwestern College setter Brooke Fessler is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Setter-of-the-Week. Fessler, a junior from Pella, Iowa, averaged 11.91 set assists per game last week. She also added 30 digs and 11 kills as the Red Raiders went 3-0 on the week with wins over Nebraska Wesleyan and Hastings.

Men's Soccer - Offensive Player of the Week
Jake Ramsay
Hastings College
Hastings College forward Jake Ramsay is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Ramsay, a senior from Lincoln, Nebraska, had a hand in all of the scoring during a 2-0 win over Northwestern, scoring the first goal and assisting on the second. Hastings is 12-2-2 overall and 7-0-1 in the GPAC on the season.

Women's Soccer - Defensive Player of the Week
Kalynn Sortino
Briar Cliff University
For the second consecutive week Briar Cliff University keeper Kalynn Sortino is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Sortino, a senior from Olathe, Kansas, record a pair of shutouts last week to give her 11 on the season as the Chargers went 1-0-1. She had 10 saves in 200 minutes last week with seven saves against Morningside and three against Concordia. She now has 58 saves and only seven goals surrendered this season. Briar Cliff is 10-2-3 overall.

Football - Special Teams Player of the Week
Devin Thomas
Morningside College
Morningside College wide receiver/return man Devin Thomas is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Special Teams Player-of-the-Week. Thomas, a senior from Council Bluffs, Iowa, returned a punt 62 yards for a touchdown. He also had a 17-yard punt return to the Briar Cliff 31-yard line to set up the Mustangs' first touchdown of the game in their 63-0 victory against Briar Cliff.
