Northwestern College, last year's NAIA Region III Baseball Champion, has claimed the 2008 Great Plains Athletic Conference regular season baseball title.  The Red Raiders completed the 24 game conference slate with an 18-6 record.

The Red Raiders will be the number one seed in the GPAC Baseball Tournament opens on Thursday, May 1, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  The GPAC Baseball Touranemnt will be played at Harmondon Park.

The pairings for the GPAC Baseball Tournament will be released on Monday night April 28.
