The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women's and men's tennis players-of-the-week for the week of April 14 –April 20, 2008. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2007-2008 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
 
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Tennis Player-of-the-Week
Men's Tennis – Jamie Holmes, Nebraska Wesleyan
 
Nebraska Wesleyan's Jamie Holmes is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Holmes defeated Creighton's number one singles player 3-6, 6-3, 10-8 in a dual match versus the NCAA DI opponent. He and his number one doubles partner Eric Holmes took Creighton's number one singles duo to the limit in an 8-6 loss. On the season Jamie Holmes is 13-3 as a freshman.

Women's Tennis – Meghan Klein, Sioux Falls
 
Sioux Falls' Meghan Klein is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Klein, a freshman from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, posted a perfect 6-0 record at the number six singles spot for the Cougars last week. She posted wins over Augustana, Morningside, Briar Cliff, Dordt, Concordia and Hastings. She, and her number three doubles partner Amanda Forest, went 4-2 in doubles play on the week for USF.
