The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following softball player and pitcher-of-the-week for April 14 –April 20, 2008. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2007-2008 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
 
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Softball Weekly Honors
Pitcher – Lexy Determan, Northwestern
  Northwestern pitcher Lexy Determan is the Hauff Mid-America Sports Softball Pitcher-of-the-Week. Determan, a freshman from Terril, Iowa, went 3-1 on the week as the Red Raiders went 4-2. For the week she pitched 28 1/3 innings, striking out 51, and walking just eight. Her ERA on the week was 0.99 as she scattered 17 hits. Northwestern began the week at 18-14.

Player- Clarissa Eloge, Concordia
  Concordia third baseman Clarissa Eloge is the Hauff Mid-America Sports Softball Player-of-the-Week. Eloge, a sophomore from Rising City, Nebraska, posted a .560 batting average as the Bulldogs went 8-0 on the week. She totaled ten RBI's going 14-25 at the plate. Her slugging percentage was .800 as she had a double, triple, and homerun on the week. Concordia began the week 23-5 and in first place in the GPAC softball standings.
