The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women's and men's tennis players-of-the-week for the week of April 7 –April 13 , 2008. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2007-2008 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Tennis Player-of-the-Week
Men's Tennis – Jake Compaan, Dordt
  Dordt's Jake Compaan is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Compaan, a senior from Holland, Michigan, went 3-0 in singles and doubles matches on the week. His wins were against Buena Vista, Doane, and Concordia. Compaan was moved up to the number one singles position because of an injury to Ben Boekeloo.

Women's Tennis – Hannah Krueger, Concordia
  Concordia's Hannah Krueger is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Krueger, a sophomore from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, went 2-0 in number one singles play and 2-0 in number one doubles play with wins over Midland Lutheran and Briar Cliff. Her doubles partner is Taylor Cook.
