![]() GPAC Weekly Golf Honors Named The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for March 31- April 6, 2008. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2007-2008 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Golfers-of-the-Week
WOMEN Brooke McCabe, Dana Dana's Brooke McCabe is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Golf Player-of-the-Week. McCabe, a junior from Plainview, Nebraska, was the meet medalist in the Hastings Women's Spring Invite. Day one was shortened to nine holes because of weather and she shot a 38. On day two she came back with an 83. The Vikings also won the team title in the meet.
MEN
Chris Rager, Morningside Morningside's Chris Rager is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Golf Player-of-the-Week. Rager, a senior from South Sioux City, Nebraska, was the medalist in the Nebraska Wesleyan Men's Spring Invitational with a two round score of 151. His round one score was 73, while on day two he shot a 78. Morningside's team finished second in the meet. The GPAC Men's Golf Championships are Monday and Tuesday, April 21 and 22
