The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's tennis player-of-the-week for the week of March 24 –March 30, 2008. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2007-2008 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
 
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Tennis Player-of-the-Week
Men's Tennis – Scott Schlessinger, Concordia
 
Concordia's Scott Schlessinger is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Schlessinger, a sophomore from Arlington, Texas, posted a 3-0 singles and 3-0 doubles record for the Bulldogs last week. Competing at the number four singles spot he posted his three wins in the Concordia Invitational Tournament (CIT). He and his number three doubles partner Tim Meyer also had three wins in the same CIT event. Their wins were over Concordia (Wisconsin), Concordia Seminary, and Concordia (Illinois). The matches were his first three as a Bulldog since transferring from LaTourneau University.

Women's Tennis – Marisa Graham, Morningside
 
Morningside's Marisa Graham is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Graham, a freshman from Sioux City, Iowa, went 1-1 at the number five singles and 1-1 at the number three doubles positions last week. She and her doubles partner Lynn Leonard posted wins over Northern State in both singles and doubles and had losses to the University of South Dakota on the same day in the Tri-Angular.
