The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men’s tennis player-of-the-week for the week of March 10 –March 16, 2008. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2006-2007 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
 
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Tennis Player-of-the-Week
Men’s Tennis – Jamie Holmes, Nebraska Wesleyan
 
Nebraska Wesleyan’s Jamie Holmes is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men’s Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Holmes, a freshman from Grand Island, Nebraska, was 4-0 on the week at the number one singles position as the Prairie Wolves competed in Hilton Head, South Carolina. He was also 3-1 at the number one doubles position on the same trip. His doubles partner is his brother Eric Holmes.

Women’s Tennis – Chelsea Henslee, Nebraska Wesleyan
 
Nebraska Wesleyan’s Chelsea Henslee is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women’s Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Henslee, a freshman from Lincoln, Nebraska, posted a 3-0 record at the number three singles position as NWU played over their spring break in Hilton Head, South Carolina. She was also 3-0 at the number three doubles position for the Prairie Wolves. Her doubles partner is Sara Howe. For the season she 9-2 in singles play and 9-1 in doubles matches.
